America's sweetheart is getting married!!!
Congrats to American journalist and news anchor, Katie Couric, who at the young and vibrant age 56, who just got engaged earlier this month during Labor Day weekend.
This makes Katie's second wedding after losing her first husband, Jay Monahan, to colon cancer 15 years ago.
You might remember how sad and tragic that was when she lost her husband, Jay. It was a very public mourning period for her and their 2 young daughters.
I am glad to see that she is happy and taking a chance on love again.
